20 years experience of formulating UK passport policy and procedure.
She has extensive knowledge of citizenship legislation.
Marie Haughey began her civil service career in the Foreign Office where she was awarded the MBE for exemplary public service.
She later joined the Home Office as Regional Head of the Passport Agency in Northern Ireland, which under her leadership consistently delivered the most efficient and effective passport service.
More recently, she transferred to the Home Office Corporate Development Directorate involved in taking forward the ‘Modernising Government’ agenda.
Marie has a proven track record of delivering results.
